About the Speaker

  • Jill Gorres

    Benefits Consultant

    Jill Gorres joined JA Counter in February 2008. She is licensed in Life, Health and Property and Casualty insurance in WI and MN. Jill is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in General Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Sales. Jill holds designations through The American College for REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant) and RHU (Registered Health Underwriter), SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional) and is a Certified Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Professional. Jill brings expertise in areas of benefits consulting, regulatory compliance, benefits administration and insurance product design. She works with employer groups to find solutions with valued plan designs and budget restrictions leveraging products or services provided by JA Counter, Alera Group. Jill is active in the St Croix Valley communities, having served on the board of directors for the New Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce, Turningpoint for Victims of Sexual and Domestic Violence, the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation, and the St Croix Valley Employers’ Association. She is the founder and former President of the St. Croix Valley Young Professionals Group, won 2011 Associate of the Year with the St. Croix Valley Home Builders Association, and is current President Elect of the St. Croix Valley Employers' Association.
  • Erin Duffy

    Director of Business Development, Imagine360

    Erin has been in the benefits space for 15+ years. She started her career at Arthur J. Gallagher focusing public sector employers and coaching clients to develop a thoughtful and intentional approach to health insurance. In January 2016, Erin channeled her entrepreneurial spirit and joined a start-up, Gravie. During her time at Gravie, she worked with small and mid-sized companies; and her goal was to make benefits more approachable and affordable. Following her path to growth and helping organizations navigate healthcare, Erin joined ELAP (now Imagine360) in October 2018. In her role at Imagine360, Erin works with employers, brokers, and consultants to implement a health plan with built-in price protection for long-term sustainability. Effective December 2022, Erin was appointed as the Chairperson for the Self-Insurance Institute of America (SIIA) Future Leaders Committee. Outside of her professional life, Erin graduated with her MBA from DePaul University and undergraduate degree from Bradley University. She is currently pursuing a pilates teacher certification. Erin loves to travel, golf, read, exercise, and spend time with friends and family.
