The JA Counter staff have supported three community organizations through their annual “Casual for a Cause” program.
The JAC employees are provided an opportunity to payroll deduct a small amount in exchange for wearing jeans on non-client meeting work days. At the end of the year the team nominates local causes and vote on the recipient(s) for the donation.
2020 Casual for a Cause Recipients:
- Grace Place, a short-term shelter that provides food, personal necessities, and educational programs for families in need.
- Operation Help, provides short term financial aid to families in crisis situations.
- Family Resource Center, a program that provides support and education to families through early childhood development.
The JA Counter team has shown that a small contribution per person can turn into a magnificent gift that benefits many in their local community.
