Employee Spotlight: Rachael Meier-Cable

Rachael Meier-Cable is in the spotlight this month!  She is our bookkeeper extraordinaire!  Rachael grew up in River Falls with her parents and two AMAZING sisters (one of those amazing sisters may have contributed to this post).

If you are currently checking out the glamour shot of young Rachael above, you might be questioning the hair styles — a gift given to many of us by our mothers in the 80’s!

A few things that people don’t know about Rachael include:

  • her first job was corn de-tasseling in the 8th grade!
  • she broke her thumb in high school physical education
  • she has had two hand injuries both resulting in stitches
  • most importantly, Rachael was, and will always be, a Princess! Rachael was the Miss River Falls 2nd Princess in 1988!
  • her least favorite household chore is cleaning the bathroom
  • she claims the best way to hang toilet paper is under
  • favorites; she is a sucker for sweet treats, all Mexican food and of course Margaritas! Her favorite cereal is Captain Crunch, Peanut Butter Crunch, her fave movie is Pretty Woman and favorite color is purple

Rachael married her High School sweetheart Andy, their 25th wedding anniversary is in September 2020!

Rachael has two amazing children, but not to forget possibly the most important member of her family, Bo. Yes, that’s the pooch seen above!  Rachael enjoys watching all sports but has a soft spot for youth sports!  She has had a lot of fun over the years volunteering at her children’s schools and in their classrooms. Being able to volunteer at school gave her a special connection with their school day, teachers, and friends. Rachael loves being a part of anything her kids choose to be involved in!

Rachael has been a tremendous asset to the JAC team.  She is always willing to help and goes above and beyond in everything she does with astounding grace and empathy.  No matter the decade or hairstyle, Rachael is a beautiful person inside and out!
